Sometimes, the prospect of washing all of those dishes after having guests over can make even the most gracious host/hostess cringe. After preparing a lovely meal with desserts and happily entertaining guests, it can be a daunting task to wash all of the dishes. At times, washing all of those dishes can lead to a less than happy host/hostess. She (or he) may end up being a little resentful or irritated with those who are not helping with the party clean-up.
While I realize that there are some people who truly enjoy washing dishes, I think it would be safe to say that most people do not enjoy doing dishes or in the very least, they don’t enjoy doing dishes after a long day of cooking and hosting a party. The Waverly Collection by Hefty lives up to the Hefty name. They are durable and strong and hold up to juicy, messy foods without any soak-through. I didn’t have any problems with cutting through the plates which can often be an issue with some of the cheaper disposable plates.
I’ve always liked Waverly fabrics and patterns, so I was rather excited that they would now have a line of disposable tableware for easy entertaining. I was even more excited when I learned that this new line from Hefty would be affordable and sold exclusively at Walmart. As I stated before, the plates are sturdy. The napkins (in both traditional square and rectangle styles) have the feel of expensive paper napkins. The cups are quite pretty and match beautifully to the other tableware pieces.
