Mmmmm…. Pure, unheated, unprocessed raw honey. The creamy honey melts in your mouth. It spreads smoothly on bread or biscuits. It makes a delicious snack when combined with peanut butter and shredded coconut.
Most honey that you purchase in the stores has been processed and filtered. While this does have an end result of a beautiful looking honey, it unfortunately removes many of the beneficial enzymes and nutrients.
Tropical Traditions organic raw honey contains all of the natural nutrients and enzymes due to their preparation techniques. They heat the honey until just liquid enough to pour (no higher than would happen in nature), and then they screen the honey (instead of filtering). This means that the honey will contain live yeast and pollen. To get all of the benefits from honey, you want to consume it in a state that is as close to what is found in nature as possible.
I would have to say this is some of the most delicious honey I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of different kinds of honey. It is so smooth, creamy, rich, and flavorful. Yum!
