Munchkin’s allergies have been giving her fits, so she’s down sick again. She was just sick last week, so it’s a bit frustrating to both of us. She has all of these plans for things that she wanted to do today, but it’s not happening. Instead, she’s resting in bed and watching movies.
I’m getting some things done around the house while trying to make sure that she’s drinking water and eating at least a little something. Since her throat hurts, getting her to drink and eat can be a difficult task.
Sick days mean a delicate balance of giving Munchkin the attention she craves when she’s under the weather and getting things done around the house.
On a positive note, the weather today is beautiful. I know it’s too soon for the hot summer weather to be completely gone, but for now, we’ll enjoy the break in the super heat.
**edited to add** I spoke too soon about the weather today. lol! It’s a lovely 100 degrees now. Hey, it’s better than 115, right?
Poor sweetie! I hope that she feels better soon 🙁 I have so many questions for you that I am going to have to put down on paper about being Gluten free. My friends little one was just diagnosed with autism and one of the things that the neurologist & her pediatrician recommend was to be on a gluten free/dairy free diet….hmmm. I may be looking up a lot of your recipes for her and may need to ask some questions from time to time! Hope Little Munchkin feels better soon! God Bless 🙂
I hope she feels better soon! My son is also home sick due to severe allergies. It’s also hard to get him to eat or drink because his allergies cause him to have abdominal migraines.
