Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter Giveaway

Posted in Gluten Free, and Reviews

Coconut Peanut ButterCoconut + Peanut Butter = Yuuummm!  Okay, so maybe that’s just how I feel about this coconut peanut butter.  When my jar of Tropical Traditions Coconut Peanut Butter arrived, it was runny.  (This was expected due to our high temps.)  You see, just like the coconut oil, the coconut peanut butter has a low melting point.  What this means is you can create some healthy delicious treats.  **grin**

My first test was to drizzle some of the liquid coconut peanut butter over some vanilla ice cream.  Once it hit the ice cream, the coconut peanut butter set to create a yummy, hard shell on the ice cream.  That’s right, you have a healthy peanut butter shell for your ice cream!

Since I’m a peanut butter gal, I also ate the peanut butter by the spoonful as a snack (once it has firmed up due to being in a cooler place in the house).  I loved the hint of coconut flavor in the peanut butter.  It was very smooth and creamy.

I would place my coconut peanut butter in various locations in the house depending on my planned application for it.  If I wanted it more runny, I would place it in a warmer location.  If I wanted a more firm (normal) consistency for the coconut peanut butter, I would place it in a cooler location.

Another favorite treat became sliced bananas drizzled with coconut peanut butter.  It was a tropical twist on a classic snack.

As you can tell, I’m really enjoying the coconut peanut butter.  Munchkin, on the other hand, didn’t really care for it because she’s not big on coconut.  D liked being able to have a peanut butter shell on his ice cream.  He says the flavor is different, but not a bad different.

Would you like to try out the coconut peanut butter for yourself?  Tropical Traditions has offered one of my readers a free jar of coconut peanut butter to try.  Yum!!!

Already tried the coconut oil and palm oil which are great. The whole wheat pastry flour is great but this coconut peanut butter is one thing I have not tried yet.
