Its the Climb

What’s a gal to do when she can’t do much around the house and has to pretty much stay put due to a bum ankle?  Well, if you’re me, you have fun listening to the free preview sessions from the Ultimate Homeschool Expo, you catch up on your favorite blogs, you find some new blogs to follow, and you enjoy reading some good books.

The good news is that my ankle is slowly starting to get better.  I’m able to move a bit more without major pain.  The stairs are still a huge cause of pain, so I’m mainly stay upstairs.  D is ready for me to be healthy as he’s lost a bit of weight this week due to the lack of my home cooking.

I’m sure I’ll find some fun new blogs today as I’m participating in Follow Me Friday and Follow Friday this week.

Flag Hands PrayingOn a more serious side note, please remember to pray for our military.  I just read of two different Marines here and here who lost their lives while serving our country.  Semper Fi Marines!  Thank you for your service to your country.

To the families, we are truly sorry for your loss, and we thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice.  It’s not a road that anyone would want to take, but it’s one that we greatly appreciate.

Well it sounds like you are on the mend…I know when I had back surgery last year Mr. P lost quite a bit of weight, I couldn’t move for weeks…he was so happy when I was up & about ~ cooked a turkey dinner 🙂 !
Our military and all of our Marines are always in my thoughts and prayers….please take a minute and tell D that I said thank you for his service to our country & thank you too, to both you & Munchkin ~ we stand in silence waiting, hoping & praying until they all come home! God Bless 🙂
