Last night, I stayed up way too late working on Munchkin’s cake and other party decorations. Munchkin hasn’t seen the cake yet. She’ll see it for the first time at the party. I’m pleased with how it turned out even though I have the most difficult time writing on cakes.
This morning, we worked on cleaning the house some more and doing some decorating before heading over to family day. They had two inflatable slide/bounce houses for the kids and lots of food. Some people were playing horse shoes while others were playing volleyball.
D and I were busy talking while Munchkin had fun playing with some of the kids. It was quite warm, so we had to make sure we were drinking lots of water. The kids love the snow cone machine that was available for use.
After we arrived home, it was time to dive back into cleaning and decorating. I also finished up a new skirt for Munchkin for church tomorrow. I can’t believe she’s turning 11 tomorrow!!
Well it sounds lik eyou had a busy day all around too!!!! Glad that family day was fun, that’s nice to get together with others! I too have hard time writing on cakes 🙂 I’m sure she’ll love it! Now get some rest befor the big party! God Bless 🙂
