Pancakes… Hot, golden pancakes… Slightly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside… Short stack, tall stack… Blueberries, strawberries, syrup, butter, powdered sugar… How do you like your pancakes?
Pancake Nation has combined our love of pancakes with fundraising. You can now find all you need to know about fundraising with a pancake breakfast in one location — Bisquick Pancake Nation. You’ll find all the tools that you need to help you customize event materials, figure out exactly how many supplies you’ll need, and spread word of your fundraising event online. Plus, you can apply for a $250 grant from Bisquick to cover your supply costs, which ultimately means raising more money for your organization. Even if you don’t want to host your own pancake fundraiser, you can find pancake fundraisers near you to support.
Now, obviously, we can’t use the actual Bisquick mix anymore due to it containing gluten, but we still love our pancakes. While we can no longer head out for a nice pancake breakfast, I still think fundraising with pancakes is a excellent idea. There is an amazing amount of work that goes into putting together a fundraiser, so I really like that Bisquick has created place that makes the pancake breakfast fundraising process much easier.
MyBlogSpark and Bisquick sent us a gift pack that allowed us to create our own pancake breakfast at home. We were happy to share the Bisquick love by sending the mix next door to be enjoyed by our neighbors. We used our own gluten free mix to create pancakes with our new Cuisipro Pancake Turner, Cuisipro Deluxe Batter Bowl, and Lodge Logic cast iron griddle. The end result were delicious, hot, golden pancakes.
I am pleased to be able to offer one of my readers their own Bisquick Pancake Nation gift pack.

Sounds like a neat idea for a fund raiser. There is an organization that we have locally in our area that raises money to help support families of our military so that if they have any needs while their deployed loved one is away that this group steps in and provides assistance. At Christmas and various holidays they also hand out presents and items for the families. I am at a loss for the name of the group right now.
personally, our family has days when we make a big pancake breakfast. This is a big deal for us since we normally don’t do breakfasts together. Our kids like to have chocolate chips added to theirs so they can have chocolate pancakes.
I’d love to win this! I love cooking with cast iron! 🙂
Our local Boy Scout Troop has had fundraising meals before, most recently a spaghetti supper. I am thinking it is time for a pancake supper! 🙂
It would also be a great fundraiser for American Heritage Girls.

I think our Boy Scout troop could benefit from this. I remember going to pancake fundraisers as a kid, but I don’t think I’ve seen any recently.

We love pancakes! For Christmas Day 2009, we started a new tradition, I think. We made pancakes and sausages. But we realized we were out of syrup, so we made them chocolate chip pancakes instead. It was kind of fun, because we could just pick them up and eat them like a cookie! We just all ate the sausages and pancakes with our fingers while we unwrapped our gifts.
But our youth group at church could use the pancake fund raiser to raise money for teen camp or mission trips!

We have a great charity in our area that is run by a homeschooled teen, it’s called Cape Cod Cares For The Troops. He started it when he was about 12, I believe, and gathers supplies, cards, gofts, etc. for the troops and ships them off.

I think that the Ronald McDonald House is a GREAT organization that could benefit from the Bisquick Pancake Nation! We had to stay at our local
RMH for 6 months while our daughter was in the NICU… and I can’t say enough MUCH THEY DID FOR MY FAMILY. (They even gave our son gifts for his birthday and Easter during our stay!!! How thoughtful!)

I have great memories growing up of my father cooking stacks of pancakes for our Saturday morning breakfasts. He was always the breakfast cook.
I know several autism organizations that would benefit from fundraising with pancakes. One organization is a ministry that offers respite to families with a child who has a disability (not just autism)- it is Buddy Break, part of Nathaniel’s Hope.
Please enter me in the drawing! 🙂

I wonder if my daughter’s Irish Step Dance Studio would consider such a thing! It would also be a great idea for Relay for Life locations.

Hi! I have to say, pancake making was one reason I fell in love with my husband:) We were both single parents w/5 kids between us and, I have to admit, pretty stressed out a lot. Anyway, one day, we were cooking together and pancakes were on the menu. I went to make them and he said–No, wait–my specialty…and proceeded to make the most adorable Mickey Mouse pancakes. He can make everything fun!
