Can you believe we’re at day 88 of the Bible in 90 Days Challenge ? The 90 Day Challenge has 2 grace days built into it, so we have until Wednesday to finish. Bakery on Main takes pride in creating healthy, natural foods that are not only good for you, but also taste good. We had the opportunity to try out several different cereals and granola bars from the gluten free line of Bakery on Main. Cinnamon Raisin Granola: This granola is made with gluten free oats and has a nice crunch. It has a good flavor overall, but I would have preferred a more pronounced cinnamon flavor. This is the gluten free flour blend that I currently use in my baking: 1 C Brown Rice Flour 1 C Sorghum Flour 1 C Amaranth Flour 3 3/4 C White Rice Flour 2 1/4 C Sweet Rice Flour 2 C Tapioca Starch 3/4 C Potato Starch 3/4 C Corn Starch 6 tsp Xanthan Gum I usually make up a large batch and store it in an airtight Tupperware container.

Yuma Air Show 2010

This morning, we headed out to the Yuma Air Show. It’s nice because it’s right here on base. Plus, D was able to drive us right over to the entrance. Munchkin and I walked around and looked at everything. D was working, so he was only able to walk with us for a few minutes before he took us back home. Munchkin and I are spending the rest of the day relaxing while D is working. It’s never fun when D has to work on the weekends, but thankfully, it doesn’t happen that often these days.
