Daughter of the King: Baptism

Posted in Christian Life, and Family

Today, Munchkin was baptized.  Gramma and Grampa were able to be there to share this special day.  My heart burst with joy to see my sweet little girl decide to make this public display of her inner decision.

I was in the back helping Munchkin with the whole process, so my Dad snapped a few pictures for me while D did his best to tape the actual baptism.  The pictures, unfortunately, didn’t really turn out, but I still wanted to share a picture of this moment.

After lunch, I chose to surprise Munchkin with this cake that I quickly decorated after church this morning.  It says “Daughter of the King”.  She was pleasantly surprised.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make deciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'” ~ Matthew 18:18-20
