Merry Christmas, My Friend Twas the night before Christmas; he lived all alone In a one bedroom house made of plaster and stone I had come down the chimney, with presents to give And to see just who in this home did live. As I looked all about, a strange sight I did see No tinsel, no presents, not even a tree No stocking by the fire, just boots filled with sand On the wall hung pictures of a far distant land. With medals and badges, awards of all kind A sobering thought soon came to my mind For this…

Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls
Posted in Gluten Free, and Homemaking
Cinnamon rolls (from a can) were a regular part of our weekend breakfast menu before we switched to a gluten free diet, and Munchkin has dearly missed those cinnamon rolls. I’ve made a few batches of cinnamon rolls, but they were just okay. Today, as I made these cinnamon rolls, my hopes began to rise as the rolls rose. The smells from the oven filled the air. Bella Toffee
Posted in Thoughts

Nativity Blog Carnival

There are some really cool Nativity scenes featured at different blogs, so you might want to head over and check them out. Our first Nativity Scene is our living Nativity from our church play. Our next Nativity is the one the Munchkin built this year. This Willow Tree Nativity was one that I have been wanting for some time. I was able to purchase the starter set this year after Thanksgiving thanks to a really good sale. Behind it, you can see…
