The house is empty except for the fridge and pantry. Echoes fill the air as we walk and talk. The walls look empty without the pictures. It’s no longer a home; it is just a house. It’s weird getting ready to leave a house that we still own…
We still have a little time before we start our cross country adventure. We continue to pray for our miracle of selling our house quickly.
Our travel trailer is now our home. We’ll be working on getting it organized before we head out on the road. It’s going to be interesting living in a small space for a few months.
Now that the packing is behind us, we’ll be able to focus more on school. Munchkin has enjoyed her time off this week; she’s also enjoyed the extra time playing with her friends in the afternoons/evenings.
It feels good to be able to relax and know that I don’t have lots of work ahead on me tomorrow. D, on the other hand, will be working on his truck all day tomorrow. He has a few repairs that needed to be made before the trip.
