Once we picked them up, we headed over to Chick-fil-a for some lunch. Munchkin was thrilled that she was able to play in the playground inside. When we go there, we’re usually just going through the drive-thru. We had to pick up a few things from the grocery store prior to heading home, but Munchkin didn’t mind as Grandma and Grandpa were there.
The next couple of days were filled with lots of talking, playing American Girl with Grandma, jumping on the trampoline with Grandpa, and playing the Wii all together.
The time went by all too quickly. Munchkin had a rough time when we had to go drop Grandma and Grandpa off at the airport on Saturday afternoon. Daddy helped take away some of the sadness by spending the rest of the day playing (Legos and Wii) with her instead of getting work done around the house. I rested and watched them play.
On Sunday, D had 24 hour duty. Munchkin had fun doing various activities while I finally pulled together the lesson plans for the new school year. Yes, I waited to the last minute to do it. No, it wasn’t any fun doing it all in one day. Ugh! I was able to get almost everything input into the system. I started using Homeschool Tracker Plus for this year as I need to start keeping track of things a little better.
