BFS Wacky Week

Posted in Family, Fun, Homeschooling, and Thoughts

This is WACKY WEEK here at Blogger Friend School! Everything is wacky fun! This week YOU, the student, get to share something of your choice that is little “Wacky”!!!

Have you done something crazy in your homeschool? Do you fingerpaint with your toes? Do you let your children do your hair? Do you wear your pajamas during homeschool? Oh, the list is endless, but it’s up to you and how much fun you want to have.

To make it even “wackier” (not sure if it’s really a word, but hey, we don’t check spelling this week at BFS either!!!…..try and type some or all of your post sdrawkcab. (backwards!)

(…and forwards…Make this a fun and relaxing week!)

Hmmm…. We definitely homeschool in bed in our pjs sometimes. We also go outside and homeschool. We’re not tied to a specific area for homeschooling (although we do most of our schooling in the “school room”.

Sometimes, p.e. involves exercising and playing on the Wii. We’ve also used Dance, Dance Revolution Disney version as exercise. (You should have seen Munchkin and Daddy do this together while he was home. It was hoot!)

When Munchkin is having a rough day, I’ll make silly faces or do crazy dances to cheer her up. If I’m feeling a bit down, she’ll do something silly to make me laugh. Our dog never fails to make us laugh as he likes to be involved in all of the action. It’s not unknown for me to burst out in song to go with something that we’re studying just to make Munchkin laugh. She tries to hide the smile/laugh, but she can’t help but allow it to bubble up.

Exploration is always encouraged. That can mean setting aside the books and heading outside to play/explore in the rain or dig trenches in the mud. Splashing in puddles, making bridges, and making boats are other rainy day favorites.

“Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for the.’ The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad.” Psalm 126:2-3

had a little trouble getting to post, but found it now. I like the verse you chose. Great for this assignment. I will try silly things, like making stuffed animals talk, to cheer up my youngest. Works everytime. Enjoyed your post-blessings
