I just completed this “review” Little House on the Prairie lapbook for Munchkin. It was written as a hands-on nreview for my daughter. Instead of writing a traditional book report, she will use this lapbook to review what we read in the Little House on the Prairie book. We really enjoyed our Little House study and weren’t quite ready for it to end. We’ve read the entire book series, made recipes, and watched the Little House television series. It’s been interesting seeing the difference between the books and the show. I’m working my way through each of the books, so she’ll have a review lapbook for each book. She helped with the layout of the booklets.
The Little House on the Prairie lapbook template and study guide packet is now part of the Marine Corps Nomads Homeschool Resource Library. They’re still free, but they’re now hosted right here. All of the free homeschool resources are available in one easy-access location. You can sign up for free access to the resource library below.

Thanks so much for taking the time to put this out there for sharing. My girls and I really appreciate it. We can not wait to start this lapbook! Thanks again!
Thank you for your for sharing this lapbook with us. I have to read Little House aloud to my daughter bc her friends are reading it and talking about it… but she is at a much lower reading level due to her disability. She LOVES lapbooking and this will help make the story “stick”. Thank you again for your selflessness.
an AF mom/wife ;o)
I am a total Little House fan. For about 12 years I have been holding annual Little House community parties on the first Saturday in February–to correspond to Laura’s birthday on Feb 7th. Now we are just partnering with another couple to open a Christian Bed and Breakfast. One area of the house will be set up Pioneer where I can hold Laura events such as Birthday parties. I have a log doll house and a covered wagon for kids to play with. I also have Laura and Mary dolls I made and an old fashioned cradle my husband made for one of our granddaughters. And I have Laura and Almanzo puppets I can use to tell stories. Your books sounds really cool but I wasn’t able to find a real description of how you use them. Could you direct me to the place where that is given. I didn’t seem to find it. Thank you so much sweet lady for sharing.
Hi Ellen,
Here is my Lapbooking Made Easy series which should explain what lapbooking is and how to use it.
Thanks for stopping by!

SO grateful that you put all the work into this, and graciously shared for free! Can’t wait to use this with my guys:)
Thank you so very for doing all the hard work for me! LOL… My kids just finished reading this book and we were excited to make a lesson out of it!
Hi there! I love this resource. Thank you for creating and sharing it. This may be a dumb question, but what goes inside all of the blank minibooks? Are we supposed to use the study guide and write the answers to the questions inside each minibook? Or maybe just key words? Thank you!
We wrote the study guide answers in the mini books, but the beauty of lapbooking is that you can do it however you want. It’s basically a resource to help remember some of the key ideas from whatever you are studying.
