Biology 101 Giveaway

Heart of the Matter is give away a Biology 101 4-dvd set. Biology 101 is a complete overview of the world of biology from a Biblical perspective, in a set of 4 DVDs. The 4 DVD set is accompanied by a printable (pdf) guidebook, allowing the student to easily review all the information covered in the film. Each guidebook segment includes a multiple choice quiz and discussion questions. A 12-page “Course Accreditation Program” booklet is included for those families who want a year-long biology course. Spring Reading Thing Wrap-Up & Summer Reading

Well, today is the first day of summer, so the Spring Reading Thing is officially over. It’s hard to believe that spring has gone and summer is here. I had no problem finishing up the non-fiction reading list that I posted. I enjoyed each of the books as they all offered various helpful tips on green housekeeping/cleaning as well as green gardening/lawn care. The more we can stay away from toxic chemicals, the better. Ancient Rome Lapbook

We had fun learning about Ancient Rome. It helped us gain a better understanding of what it would have been like living during the time period when Jesus was alive. We completed the study right before D came home, but I’m just now getting to posting the pics. We used the lapbook from Hands of a Child.
