Growing in Grace Magazine wants to honor Christian mothers and daughters in May for Mother’s Day! Dirkey is having an Earth Day Contest to encourage us to find joy in the small things in nature. The contest ends today. I took this picture after the morning rain had stopped. There is something absolutely beautiful about the raindrops on a flower. How can you not marvel at the wonders of God’s creation when He takes joy in even the small things in life?

Turn off Your TV Week

Munchkin and I have decided to participate in this year’s National Turn Off Your TV Week. So, from April 21-27th, we don’t plan on watching any tv at our house. I use videos in our schooling for different subjects, so we’ll even be cutting those out this week. I have to admit that I know we’ll miss watching our Little House on the Prairie episodes. lol!
