“The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24-26
For more Thankful Thursday visit Iris.
This week we experienced the wonderful blessing of being able to spend time with family from out of town. We had beautiful weather and just had a joyful time together. We were able to go to church together which is always a blessing.
Later, we had even more family that was able to stop by for a visit. Munchkin really enjoyed this visit as she hasn’t been able to spend time with her cousins for quite some time. As a military family (they’re military as well), it’s not always easy to get together with family as often as you may like.
We have been blessed with a great new church family. This means a great deal to us as we went nearly 3 years without a church home. We have a Pastor that preaches the Word and cares about his flock.
We are blessed with a wonderful home. It may be a lot smaller than our last home, but we’re very happy to be living comfortably here. We have a great backyard and good neighbors.
The Lord has kept us safe. For all of this, we are truly grateful.
I am so thrilled that you had time with family. It is always a blessing to spend time with loved ones–especially on a holiday.
Glad that you have found a great new church and fell comfortable at it. It is so important that your pastor preaches the Word.
Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.
Be blessed today and always.

That is awesome to have a church family – we just found a new church too and meeting new people. We don’t have a lot of family close so it means a lot to have a church family.
What a great praise about finding a church home! I know that can create a sense of peace in you like nothing else.
Many blessings!
Hello,
Thank you for stopping by today! We also had visitors this week, C’s best man and his family. We rarely have loved ones stopping by, too, so it was great having them.
Finding a spiritual home is so challenging. I have found that getting in the “wrong” congregation can draw you away from church AND God. But I have recently been given a helping hand by fellow bloggers. Visiting this community of godly women is so important to me now, as it slowly, kindly opens my heart again.
Wishng you and your family love and the presence and protection of God in your lives always.
A good church family is so important and I’m so glad that you have found one you are pleased with.
I always love your thankful list, bless you.

What a joy to read your thankful list on Blessings! And, praise the Lord for your visit w/ family! And, also praise Him for your church family! Thank you for sharing; you have blessed me today. 🙂
I think contentment is the key issue with your home, we lived in a tiny bungalow as our first house with our 3 little preschool children. It’s definitely worth it in the end.
