Thankful Thursday

Posted in Family

This week I am very thankful for all of the kindness, warm responses, and prayers that I have received from my fellow bloggers. We greatly appreciate all of the kind comments that you have left.

I am grateful that although D will be deploying we still have some time before he leaves. Granted, he will not be here in the same state with us for the next few months, but there is a good chance that we’ll still get to spend some time together on some weekends. For this, I am very grateful. He may be able to see her play her first season of soccer.

Once again, I am grateful that the Lord provides for our needs. We may not always know what these needs are, but He knows. I am grateful for His love and strength.

My God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

You really spoke to my heart. I have been struggling with exactly how to put into words about how He provides for all our needs and you said it perfectly: “He knows.”

You & your family are on my prayer list for D’s upcoming deployment.

It does not compare to being separated from a husband, but my sister in law is in Iraq so my heart is tender to your family. Your husband is in my prayers, and you in managing the household.

    blessings.

I do pray that you will have some weekends together before your D is being deployed.
You know, Philippians has become my favorite book of the Bible. No matter how low I feel, if I open up the book of Philippians I always find comfort.

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.

    Be blessed today and always.

Your family will be in my prayers in the days and weeks to come. This will be a challenging time, but all will be well if you remain faithful. Thanks to D and all of your for your faithful service to this nation. I know you don’t — and can’t — hear that enough. I won’t get into politics . . . I will only say that the men and women in service are remarkable, strong and brave & I support each and every one of you.
