Thankful Thursday: Nature

Posted in Family

This week, as I thought about my Thankful Thursday post, I looked around the yard and saw the beauty of the Lord’s creation. How can anyone not believe in God after looking at His wonderful creations.

I am grateful that the Lord not only takes care of our needs, but also makes things beautiful for us to look at.

I am grateful that food not only nourishes us, but it also tastes wonderful.
I am grateful that I can hear the beautiful sounds of nature around me.
I am grateful that I can smell the delicious aroma of baking bread or the sweet smell of the blooming flowers.
I am grateful that I can feel my husband and daughter as they give loving hugs and kisses.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19

Pictures are of flowers from our garden.

I feel closer to Jesus when I’m in the garden and feel the warmth of the sunshine and hear the birds singing their praises and see the beauty around me. Thanks for sharing. God knew what He was doing when He created the senses in us. Blessings on your day.

What a sweet TT post this week. We have so much to be thankful for. I thought of you last night as I was going through a cookbook and found some recipes that are flour/wheat free. If you are interested, I will email them. Just let me know 🙂 Blessings to you and your family this weekend!

Heather — you are right; the beauty He created around us is breath-taking. If you and your family ever have the chance to visit the Grand Canyon – just awesome 🙂
I think flowers are my favorite in His creation.
I love getting hugs from my DH – too bad that our son no longer gives hugs *sigh*
Thank you for sharing your thankfulness with us this week.

    Be blessed today and always.
