Small Changes for a Better Life Review

Posted in Reviews, and Thoughts

I recently started reading books by Elizabeth George. I started off with her book Small Changes for a Better Life since it was available from our local library. I loved how she broke down her chapters into manageable “portions” for each change that was needed in our lives. At the end of the chapters, she broke down the ways to implement these changes into things to do today, things to do this week, and things to do this month. She has a wonderful way of making one think about how things changes will help better your relationship with Christ, your family, and your friends.

As I was reading this book, I ordered Beautiful in God’s Eyes from Paperback Swap. I have been enjoying reading this book as well. This book is a study of the Proverbs 31 woman. Although I do not agree everything that she has written, this is a very thoughtful study into how we can become truly beautiful in God’s eyes. I’ve enjoyed her insight and thought provoking questions about the Proverbs 31 woman. I will be finishing this book shortly (it’s amazing how much reading you get done with no internet access), and moving on to A Woman after God’s Own Heart.

I’ve been reading Loving God with all your Mind – it’s wonderful! It’s the best one I’ve read of hers so far and I’ve read several. The only one you mention I haven’t read is Small Changes. I didn’t agree with everything in the Proverbs 31 one either, but it was still life-changing.

    Enjoy your time reading!

I will have to add those two to my “To Read list” – sounds great. A Woman After God’s Own Heart is really good, if it is the one I worked through by Cynthia Heald…let me know how you like it!

Hope you guys enjoy your time away together! Love T
