Today promises to be a beautiful but busy day. We’re having some people stop by to pick up some things that we’re giving away (trying to lighten the moving load). We’re also trying to sell our car, so a gentleman is stopping by to take a look. (Please pray that he purchases it as it will help tremendously with the move.) We have to return a defective t.v. that we purchase, and a fish that died. I need to get all the laundry done today as D needs to finish packing for his trip. Munchkin and I also need clean clothes for the new house as we don’t have the washer and dryer there yet. We need to get the truck loaded up for our trip down to the new house.
In addition, we really need to spend some quality family time together before D leaves on his trip. While it’s only a couple of weeks (followed by a short, few day break) then another couple of weeks, munchkin doesn’t do well with Daddy being gone. She’s never completely gotten over his last deployment. I’m sure it will eventually get better. I’m just planning on keeping her busy and making sure that we do several different fun things while he’s gone.
My time on the computer will probably be brief today, but I’ll try to get to more blogs today. Wow! There sure is a huge list!! Later this week, I’ll be announcing yet another contest on the blog in honor of the Ultimate Blog Party.
