Long Night

Posted in Family, and Thoughts

Last night was a very long night. The first night after Daddy leaves seems to be the worst (usually). No, Daddy is not deployed (thankfully), he’s just away for training for most of the month. I finally was able to get her to sleep around 2:00am. Normal bedtime is between 8:30 and 9:00pm. I knew that being in a new location plus Daddy leaving was going to be difficult, but I didn’t think that it was going to be 2:00am difficult.

She’s still sleeping soundly now, so I’m quietly trying to do some catching up on the computer. Most of the projects that I need to do will take too much noise and I don’t want to wake her up. She needs her rest.

I’m doing my best to make my rounds to different blogs, but things are going slowly. Please be patient with me as it may take a bit of time. I’m reading the comments, but I don’t always have time to head to each blog at that moment. Once again, thank you for all the kind comments and well wishes. They are greatly appreciated. It really brightens my day!

    Well thankfully he isn’t deployed.
We were daddyless a night last week, first one in awhile.

*hugs* Hope you get some rest as well.

Poor little dear – Bless her heart! Praying you can both get caught up on sleep and have some fun girl time making the most of Daddy being away 🙂

Too many changes too quickly. That’s where we are, too. We spent over a month living out of suitcases while we transitioned from overseas to a new home in the States. Then the next month, Daddy deployed for a year. Lots of fun being had by all!
