Ocotilla Wells: Shell Reef

Project 365 – #206 A shell reef in the middle of the desert?  How could this be?  Hmmm… maybe the world was covered completely by water at some point??? Munchkin scurried up the hill. I decided to follow her up to try to grab a picture or two. D stayed with puppy at the bottom.  Whew!  That was quite the climb up, and the climb down was quite the adventure on such a hot day.

Creation Waits with Eager Longing

Project 365 – #205 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. The End of the Road

Project 365 – #203 The end of our journey that started out in the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge brought us back to the Colorado River.  Here we found this little building near a zip line that crossed the river.  The cool breeze blowing off the water felt good as the sun began to set.  While we still needed to make our way back home, the peaceful water was a wonderful end to a crazy, but fun day of exploring.
