With so much going on in our lives right now, it’s so critical that we don’t forget to spend time in the Word daily. It’s such a source of encouragement and strength during even the most difficult times. As I began to think about this, I felt lead to make a few scripture cards as encouragement for others and myself. I’m in the process of editing my first book, Broken. The editing process is taking forever, but I’ll eventually get it done. Of course, I’m working on the second book in the series while editing, so that may be part of the issue. To take a little break from writing/editing, I thought it would be cool sketch a few illustrations for the book.
I admit that our family has enjoyed all of the products that we have used from Compass Classroom. Visual Latin turned my daughter into someone who absolutely loves Latin, and she thoroughly enjoyed the Economics for Everybody class which is not something most parents can say when it comes to a subject like Economics. As you know, I tend to cook by the seat of my pants. Quite often, I look to see what we have in the pantry/fridge/freezer and create something from that. I like to throw things together and just create a dish. Usually, the dish turns out quite good although there are a few failures here and there.
