Part of the Jeep Family

Posted in Family, and Outdoor Adventures

I faintly remember a trip from my childhood where we took our Jeep and another vehicle camping. (Clearly I was more fond of the Jeep because I have no clue about the other vehicle.) I’m not sure when that Jeep was sold, but it was only a part of my early years. As I grew up and got ready to drive, I always thought it would be fun to have a Jeep. (In all fairness, I also wanted a classic Mustang. I never did get a Mustang, but I did have a sporty Camaro for a few years.) A Jeep…

The Search for Christmas Snow

Posted in Family, and Outdoor Adventures

While we don’t normally live in areas that get much (if any) snow, we all still enjoy it. We love milder winter weather, but we do miss the fun that comes with snow now and again. Munchkin especially wanted snow for Christmas this year, so we decided to head out on a little exploration adventure in search of snow. We headed up to Big Bear Lake. This 15.2 oz. tumbler from Simple Eleven is an insulated (double walled) glass tumbler that is watertight and features a beautiful bamboo lid. The fine mesh tea…

High Flying with a Pocket Disc

Posted in Family, Outdoor Adventures, and Reviews

Special thanks to Pocket Disc for providing a sample of their sport pocket disc for us to test out in our home. All opinions are our own based upon our personal experiences with the product. But I don’t want to give it back. I like it too much! Wiley immediately fell in the love with the Pocket Disc. The fact that we could play with it both inside and outside could have something to do with that. Plus, he loves that the 100% cotton disc is soft and easy to catch. The Pocket Disc is a fair trade product that…
