This week’s assignment for our online cooking class was Lemon & Rosemary Roast Chicken. We paired it with homemade steak fries and tin foil carrots from the previous lessons. The chicken was absolutely delicious, and D was happy to take the leftovers in his lunch today. We saved the carcass as we’ll be using that in next week’s lesson.

This week’s online cooking class was Meatloaf and Potatoes. Munchkin did a wonderful job, and everything tasted delicious!! As usual, we tweaked things slightly to adjust for dietary requirements.

D built Munchkin and I matching desks. I was finally able to get my desk painted. I’m hoping to get Munchkin’s desk done soon. I’m thrilled to finally show off D’s handy work. I think he did a great job. We took the handles off old end tables that were heading to the dump. I’d love to say that my desk is always this organized, but I’d be lying. lol! Now, if I could only figure out a way to make it all look more organized underneath the desk. hmmm…

Munchkin’s lesson for this week’s online cooking class was turkey burgers and carrots. We tweaked the ingredients a little to meet our dietary needs. She did a wonderful job, and everything tasted fantastic!!
Our online cooking class lesson for this week is burgers and sweet potato fries. Instead of just using hamburger, Munchkin combined sausage and hamburger with some diced onions to make the patties. I chopped up the sweet potatoes, and Munchkin added the seasoning and prepared them for baking. Munchkin then made the barbecue sauce. When Daddy came home, he grilled the burgers. Munchkin decided that she likes these burgers and bbq sauce. In fact, she wanted another burger when she finished the first one!! I think there is something special about making things yourself. She still doesn’t like sweet potatoes…
