We made the choice to do things together as a family while Daddy was home. That meant that a few people probably ended up a little unhappy with us as we didn’t really do anything with other people. We just relaxed and had fun together. Daddy’s first day home was spent just relaxing and recovering from his trip home. The next day, we headed out to see the new Narnia movie. We really enjoyed it. This parting scene had several people crying at the airport. Others wiped their eyes as Munchkin said farewell to her Daddy. With lots of hugs and kisses, we parted ways and watched him walk away…

I think they were a little happy to see each other.
I’ll be scarce around here for the next few weeks as we prepare for a special visitor. This special someone will be arriving sometime at the end of the week. We eagerly await a phone call to tell us when (day and time) to pick him up. He’ll only be around for a couple of weeks, so this time will be very precious. For now, Munchkin is working hard at completing this unit of schooling. We’re both diligently working at getting the house together. We’ve put up our Memorial Day decorations outside (flags, yellow ribbons, and patriotic ribbons) that will…
