I’m a Pepper

Posted in Photography, and Thoughts

Project 365 – #175 I don’t drink coffee. I very rarely drink tea. The one thing I enjoy is my Dr. Pepper. Healthy? Nope. Enjoyable? Absolutely. 😉 I wonder if they still make Dr. Pepper in glass bottles and/or with real sugar.  Mmmm…. That would be really yummy.

Chicken Chili

Project 365 – #174 The crockpot is definitely my friend when I’m not feeling well.  I can toss all of the ingredients into the pot and pretty much forget about it.  Last night, I tossed in a pound of ground chicken, 2 cans of organic multi-color beans, 1 can of organic tomato sauce, 1/2 jar of roasted green chili sauce, 3 large organic tomatoes diced, and some seasonings.  (Basically, I looked into the fridge and pantry to see what we had on hand and dumped it into the crockpot.) A Day of Reading

Posted in Family, and Photography

Project 365 – #172 It’s very rare (other than when we’re on vacation) that I get to sit down and just read for any length of time.  I do read at night, but I have to be careful not to get caught up in the book as I’ll end up staying up way too late.  I very much enjoy getting caught up in a good book. The one plus of not feeling all that grand is that I am able to just rest and read.  Munchkin worked on her schoolwork while I enjoyed reading a book.  She came in after…
