Part A: Share at least 3 “Bountiful Blessings” that the Lord has abundantly provided.
1. I am thankful for my Lord and Saviour. He is truly my strength and my comfort. Without Him, I would be lost in more than one way.
2. I am thankful for my loving family. I am blessed with a wonderful husband (miss you), and a caring daughter. We have lots of extended family whose prayers and love mean the world to us.
3. I am thankful for modern technology (like the internet) that allows us to stay in contact even when we’re many miles apart.
Part B: Share your Thanksgiving Feast {past or present} You may use Photos, menus, recipes, activities, traditions…Be creative! –”Who carves the turkey?”, “Do you save the wishbone?”, “What do you serve for dessert?”, “Who hosts the Thanksgiving dinner in your family” ….my favorite…”What do you do with all those leftovers?”
This year will be different for us since D is not here.
We love to decorate for the holidays, so as soon as fall hits, we decorate. We’ll add some Thanksgiving decorations to the fall decorations that are already out. Munchkin loves decorating the table, so that is her job.
I love cooking for Thanksgiving as it gives me great pleasure to provide a feast. Here is our normal Thanksgiving feast:
Turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing (outside of bird), corn, rolls, sweet potato muffins, cranberry sauce, cranberry relish, pumpkin pie, and cookies.
I’m sure I’m probably missing something, but you get the idea.
D usually carves the turkey. For leftovers, I put together t.v. dinners and stick them in the freezer for later.
Part C: Post a Scripture that reminds you of your blessings!
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
“And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:13, 19
I am having trouble leaving comments on google today. This may be the 2nd one. Prayers for you while D is gone. We pray for all the military a lot. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast. Very hearty & sounds so tasteful too. I truly like your ideal about the tv dinner, we’ve never done this. Might just give that a extra push this coming up week.
May you & your’s have a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast.
Blessings,
Debbie
You did a great job with this assignment. Your Thanksgiving meal sounds so yummy and I can just picture the festive decorations. I will keep your family in my prayers as your husband is serving overseas. Thanks for sharing your assignment. Have a blessed week and a Happy Thanksgiving.
I noticed your comment on TrainingHearts’ blog, and that made me want to find and see your post. I pray your family will continue to see God’s blessings during this time of separation from your husband/dad, and also for a happy reunion! The verses you shared are really meaningful to me, too.
