Constitution Unit Study

Munchkin is learning about United States History and United States Government this year in school.  This week, she’s finishing up with the overview of American Government.  Starting next week, we will begin the more in-depth look into the founding of our nation and the structure of our government.  The first thing we will be doing is a month long unit study on the United States Constitution. A more relaxing week…

Last week, we had a crazy busy week due to daytime Vacation Bible School on base.  Munchkin had a wonderful time even with the few bumps she encountered along the way.  The week ended with a final closing ceremony where the kids recited their verses and sang the songs that they had learned during the week.  The handful of kids who learned all of their verses for the week received a can of root beer at the pizza party.  For some, this may not seem like much, but for my kiddo, she thought it was great.  (She really likes root…
