Spirit of CHRISTmas ornaments

Posted in Holidays, and Homemaking

We liked the movie The Polar Express.  Yes, it’s all about Santa, but Santa can be fun if we make sure our focus is where it should be — on Christ.  One of the things that Munchkin enjoys about the movie is the jingle bell.  This year, knowing that we had several Polar Express fans to give gifts to, we decided to do something as a spin off of the jingle bell in the movie.

We found these bells at the dollar store.  There were 9 bells in the package.  I made some little tags that say “May the spirit of CHRISTmas be in you”.  We used some scrapbooking scissors to add a little detail to the tags.  Once we cut out the tags, we used some curling ribbon to attach the tag to the bell and create a little “hanger”  These are simple, inexpensive, fun ornaments.  The kids are having fun going around and ringing their bells.

Spreading CHRISTmas cheer with easy to make ornaments works for me.  For more Works for Me Wednesday, head over to We Are THAT Family.
