Easy Melon Preparation

Project 365 – #159

I use this melon preparation technique for most melons such as watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew.  While wedges are fun sometimes, I’ve found that it’s much easier to eat melon when it’s not on the rind.  If I have the melon all cut up, it’s sure to be gobbled up.

Hiking Equipment

Oriental Trading Company has lots of fun different food picks which add a little fun to a simple wrap.  By using a fish cookie cutter on the watermelon, I was able to create a fun, simple under water lunch for Munchkin.
