2021 Word of the Year Growth

Posted in Thoughts

I’ve been pondering my word of the year for a few weeks now, but nothing seemed to fit. I even did some of those cute online quizzes to help me pick out a word, but they weren’t right either. This morning as I was cutting up wood with the chainsaw it hit me. My 2021 word of the year is growth! I needed hope, and my hope was directly tied to my faith. For me, faith and hope go hand-in-hand. For God alone, O my soul,…

Yesterday, I was reading several blogs where they were talking about their word of the year and their goals for the year. I still hadn’t nailed down my word, but I was slowly weeding out the ones that weren’t a good fit. This morning, I realized that my 2017 word of the year at been there all along. In many ways, my answer was in the search. This year, my word of the year is focus.…
