Early Sunday morning, Gram went to meet her Heavenly Father. Nearly 3 years ago, we said goodbye to G’pa. Because Gram and Gramps had been married for 71 years at the time, we weren’t sure how much time we would have with Gram after Gramps passing. We were blessed with nearly 3 additional years with Gram. She had the opportunity to enhance the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with her sweet spirit even with the ups and downs of various health issues. In Loving Memory of Teddy

Theodore “Teddy” was born on September 4th to Rosita and Choco. He was quite the little guy back then. Munchkin had a blast taking care of him and babying him and his siblings. Eventually, we sold Rosita and Teddy’s sisters, so he and Choco were quite spoiled as guinea pigs. When Choco passed away, Simon and his son Alvin came into our lives. Saying Goodbye to My Grandpa

Many miles away, my family is holding the memorial service for my Grandpa.  It’s a small, graveside funeral.  People are sharing stories, memories.  Tears are being shed.  Hugs are being given.  Laughter and sorrow will be mixed together.  It’s a bittersweet day for all. You see, my Grandpa has been ill for some time.  He had many ups and downs.  He was a fighter, but even fighters eventually must rest.  He is now eternally resting.  We all knew that this day would come, but saying that final goodbye is not easy.  I will chose to focus on the positive today.…
