30 Days of Thankfulness: Days 6-14

Posted in Family

Day 6: I am grateful that the Lord gave me the ability to stay calm, cool, and collected today while dealing with a frustrating situation at the ranch. I am thankful that although I may not understand why things are happening, I know that the Lord’s got this. While I do pray that His will and my will are the same, I will praise Him no matter the outcome. Isn’t it wonderful that the Lord cares about all things in our lives – big or small. We can cast all of our cares/concerns upon Him and He will listen. We…

30 Days of Thankfulness: Days 1-5

Posted in Family, and Thoughts

Every year, I enjoy participating in the Gratitude Challenge over at my friend Brenda’s blog. This year, I’m also joining up with a fellow Mosaic Reviews team member in her 30 Days of Thanks challenge. I may not post on my blog every day because life happens, but I am going to make sure I am daily counting my blessings. Back and forth the discussions went as they tried to balance the powers between state and federal government.…

Thankful for Bountiful Baskets

Posted in Family, and Holidays

I know that I’ve talked about Bountiful Baskets on a variety of occasions, but I’m going to talk about it again. Our latest basket included a nice variety of fall vegetables and fruits. The extra that I really liked this time around was the fresh herbs. I’ve missed cooking with fresh herbs, so this was rather exciting for me. I now have cilantro, basil, oregano, rosemary, dill, sage, and parsley. The kitchen smells so good with the cilantro, parsley, and basil sitting on the counter. The other herbs are making the fridge smell lovely. One of the things that I…
