Project 365 – #196 Today, we took a break from our preparations to take a silly picture using the theme of books. Right now, Munchkin is reading through the Black Stallion series, so we used some of those books in the shot. It didn’t turn out quite as desired, but it was a very quick photo shoot. 😉 She wasn’t too thrilled to be on the rocks. Project 365 – #189 Yet another hearty breakfast for my Marine. He loves to start his day with a solid breakfast. It doesn’t always happen, but it’s definitely what he prefers. Me? I’d be happy with a muffin or breakfast bar. 😉 Munchkin likes a wide assortment of items for breakfast – as long as mommy gets them for her. lol! Sorry I’m so late in posting today. It’s been a long day of working on the computer and blog. I have a love – hate relationship with technology….

Project 365 – #007 Little did we know that when we moved to the Arizona desert that we would be in the middle of citrus country. It seems odd to see so much agriculture in such a hot, dry place. Yet, they’ve made it work. The winters are mild, so I suppose that does suit citrus well. This time of year, the citrus trees are filled to the brim with fruit. The fresh from the tree citrus is absolutely delicious. This post is part of Foto Friday and 365 Project.

As I looked around this week and thought about the theme for this challenge – happy, I realized, once again, how blessed I really am. A simple photography challenge put my mind in motion. So many different thoughts filled my head. This week’s challenge became more of a way to capture the moment of some of the things that make me happy instead of taking “the perfect” shot.
