On Sunday, Daddy and Munchkin headed out to the grocery store to get much needed groceries. Our pantry, fridge, and freezer were looking rather bare. Not having the staples is no fun. I made up a list of all the things we needed (at least as many as I could remember) because my head was hurting too much to venture out with them. Just a few of the beautiful colors we saw this past weekend during our camping trip. I love it when the desert comes alive with color.
It was a beautiful day in the mid to low 80s. Skies were clear except for a few wisps of clouds. The outdoors were calling me, so I picked up my camera and headed out to see what would capture my eye. I was pleased to see many birds flying about and the bright colors of spring blooms. Then something caught my eye. It quickly flitted from one flower to the next until it landed right above me in the tree. I decided to follow the path of the hummingbird and capture of few signs of spring.

Project 365 – #256 Last night was a crazy, tiring night, so I needed a little pick-me-up today. Fresh flowers always seem to add a little light and life to a room, but I didn’t want to spend the money on purchasing flowers. Then, I looked out my window and saw my flowering bushes that could use a bit of pruning. I quickly grabbed my shears and headed out to trim off a few pieces of the flowering bush.
