Our journey towards having a greener household all started when we went gluten free a few years ago.  Having to look at the ingredients on everything (not just food) really opens your eyes to what is in various products.  Our switch to eating gluten free helped us transition into a healthier and more organic diet.

Truck Update

On Tuesday evening, D got back the instrument panel for the Suburban.  After Munchkin’s baseball practice, he reinstalled it in the Suburban.  It was working nicely.  Then, something crazy happened when he put the dash panel back in place.  The truck died!!  It wouldn’t start.

He tried charging the battery, and it still wouldn’t start.

My truck is in pieces

A few months ago, the speedometer on my Suburban went out.  It was a gradual process.  At first, there was a click, click sound.  Then, it started to get stuck at certain speeds.  Finally, it just stopped working.  We took it over to the Chevy dealership, and they confirmed that it was the cluster

Thrifty Thursday: Bulk Grains

Eating gluten free can get pricey if we buy all of the pre-packaged items. I save money by making things from scratch and buying in bulk. Today, we picked up our first order from Azure Standard.
