Today was D’s first day back to work after his surgery. Thanks to a long Thanksgiving weekend, it was only a half day of work. He was pretty wiped and hurting by the time he came home, but overall things went pretty well. The sun began to peak over the horizon as the flag traveled up the pole. Cars and pedestrians stop their travels with they hear the first notes of the ceremony being played.
