21 Day Fix Week 3

Week 3 is in the books. It’s hard to believe that I’ve actually made it through the entire 21 Day Fix program. While I’m still not able to do the entire program without some modification, I am definitely in better shape and feeling stronger. I’ve decided that I’m going to do another session as my new goal is to be able to make it through the complete program without modification. I’m not sure how long it will take, but it will be interesting trying.

This week, I added some heavier weights to some of the sessions. Previously, I was using the 2 lb. weight as my light weight and 3 lb. weight as my heavy weight. I’ve now changed it so my 3 lb. weights are my light set of weights and my new 5 lb. weights are my heavy set of weights. I’ve also added additional stretching exercises during the day as I needed to try to get some of my flexibility back.

D gave me a new yoga pad that actually has some padding to it. The new mat has really helped make the various exercises easier on my joints, hands, knees, elbows…. He decided on the fold up pad rather than a pad that rolls up. I really like the choice that he made for me. 🙂 I love how supportive and encouraging he has been all throughout this process.
