Day two of horse camp began with a drive through the desert to go see a large oak tree in the middle of the desert. Obviously, this is an odd, but cool site. Horse Camp Fall 2013 – Day One

Munchkin had the opportunity to attend horse camp this week, so we took advantage it. Day one began with a walk down the street to meet up with Mr. Jack for lessons in roping. He patiently talked to the entire group and explained the technique. Each child then took a turn. I was so impressed with how he worked with each child in a way that allowed every single child to successfully rope the practice steer.
