Little House Lapbook Series

My free Little House on the Prairie Lapbooks are probably one of the most downloaded homeschool freebies on my site. Because of this, I thought I would put them all in one place for easy location of the layout posts. Just click on the individual images to be taken to the post for that lapbook. This set of lapbooks is based on the Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Little House in the Big Woods

Little House Lapbook Series - Farmer Boy

Little House Lapbook Series - Little House on the Prairie

Little House Lapbook Series - On the Banks of Plum Creek

Little House Lapbook Series - By the Shores of Silver Lake

Little House Lapbook Series - The Long Winter

Little House Lapbook Series - Little Town on the Prairie

Little House Lapbook Series - The Golden Years

Little House Lapbook Series - The First Four Years

The Little House Series is now part of the Marine Corps Nomads Homeschool Resource Library. They’re still free, but they’re now hosted right here. All of the free homeschool resources are available in one easy-access location. You can sign up for free access to the resource library below.

Omygoodness thank you so much for posting these! I am currently a pre service teacher in my second year of university and have to create a unit plan around the theme of Little House on the Prairie! For a poor university student, these resources are definitely appreciated!

I love Little House, so I downloaded these (THANKS), but maybe I don’t know how they will look when completed. Can you show the inside of a completed lapbook or tell me how to put it together. What is the background? (folder, construction paper, or what) I’m not familiar with lapbooks, so I need more information. Thanks for your time.

    • Hi Mary,

All of the links are working. Some files are too large to show a preview which may be what you’re experiencing. Just click on download, and you’ll be fine. Just an fyi… you may receive a notification that the files can’t be scanned due to their size. Just click on download anyway to download the files. Thanks!

Hi there! I just arrived at this page via Homeschool Freebies, and I’m thrilled! These look simply beautiful. We read “Big Woods” and “Farmer Boy” this school year, and while I’m not normally a lapbooker, these will be perfect for some light school days this summer. Thanks so much!

I love these! It brought tears to my eyes because my late daughter loved the Little House Series so much and she would have gone crazy with these. I downloaded them for her son and hope to do them some day with him so he can share her love for these great books. I still have the huge family tree poster that she made of Laura Ingells Wilder.:)

Is it normal that there is not preview for all but the first lapbook? Just making sure they weren’t hacked and not a virus or something.
