O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

~Psalm 8~

Munchkin and I got up early on Saturday morning to see the lunar eclipse. Well, I got up a bit earlier to try to photograph some of the stages. Munchkin asked me to get her up when the full eclipse was taking place. Sadly, because it was already fairly light out by that point, there really wasn’t much to see, so she was a little disappointed. I’m sure that I was quite the sight out there with my camera in my fleece pjs taking pics. lol! We were both pretty tired still, so we headed back to bed after our viewing.

Did anyone else get up and at least try to view the lunar eclipse?

  2. I didn’t even try because on the news Friday night they talked about how we wouldn’t really see it because of us being more towards the eastern half of the U.S. I enjoyed seeing your photos though!

    • If we were still on the East coast, I wouldn’t have gotten up either. 😉

    • During the total eclipse, I had to find a location that was between houses to actually be able to see the moon. It was rather crazy. 😉

    • Thanks. I actually used a tripod this time to try to make sure they weren’t blurry. 😉
