Project 365 – #252
The little squeaks are growing quickly. It’s hard to believe they’re almost a week old. It looks like we have 2 females and 1 male, but we’ll need to confirm that in about 2 weeks when it’s time to remove the males from the females. They’re so cute as they follow each other in a little herd. Choco, the papa, is allowed in with them for closely supervised visits as he is a bit lonely, and he loves being with his family. Rosita is doing a great job as a mama; she takes care of the kiddos like a pro. They are definitely providing lots of entertainment and excitement around our house. Munchkin likes to do a good portion of her schoolwork right next to their cage. Obviously, that schoolwork takes a bit longer due to the “slight” distraction caused by the squeaks.
How cute! We are currently waiting to see if our guinea pig is going to have babies…
