New Years Eve 2010

Posted in Family, and Outdoor Adventures

It’s hard to believe that another year has come to an end.  We will be spending our New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day out in the desert.  It seems fitting to be ending 2010 and starting 2011 out camping in the desert and spending quality time together as a family.  We plan on doing some riding and hiking as well as just relax and play games.  I’m taking along some books to get some reading done. Christmas Storybook Lane

Posted in Family, and Holidays

I very much enjoy looking at Christmas lights.  No matter where we are living, we try to find a very nice Christmas light display.  Last year, we missed out on that, but this year, we went to Storybook Lane.  A group of neighbors (not in our neighborhood) came together to put on a light show display featuring ‘Twas the Night before Christmas.  You could drive down the street and look at the display (very long, very slow process), or you could park and walk down the street to see all of the displays.  We decided to walk, and I’m glad…
