Homeschooling is truly a labor of love. It can be an enormously rewarding experience, but it’s not without its trials and horrible, no good, very rotten days. There are days that you, the mom and teacher, are running completely on empty, and your creativity is no where to be found. As soon as my Schoolhouse magazine arrives, I dig into it. I love reading all of the articles filled with homeschooling helps, unit studies, words of advice, been there and done that type articles…. Once I’ve read through it once, I don’t get rid of it like I do many magazines that come into our house. Nope, these magazines are keepers. They are read more than once or even twice. I set them aside for when my tank is running on empty and my creative juices have stopped flowing.
