Homeschooling is truly a labor of love. It can be an enormously rewarding experience, but it’s not without its trials and horrible, no good, very rotten days. There are days that you, the mom and teacher, are running completely on empty, and your creativity is no where to be found. You don’t want to get out of bed much less try to patiently teach your kiddos. It’s days like those that you need encouragement and creative ideas. You need some inspiration to get you through that day.
The Schoolhouse Magazine can be that inspiration for you.
As soon as my Schoolhouse magazine arrives, I dig into it. I love reading all of the articles filled with homeschooling helps, unit studies, words of advice, been there and done that type articles…. Once I’ve read through it once, I don’t get rid of it like I do many magazines that come into our house. Nope, these magazines are keepers. They are read more than once or even twice. I set them aside for when my tank is running on empty and my creative juices have stopped flowing.
I like the magazine so much that I tend to renew it every time they have a really great sale (like the one mentioned below). Of course that means that I’m not really sure when my current subscription actually ends. lol! That’s okay because they just keep adding on the renewals to the end of my subscription.
