Review and Giveaway: CarolinaPad Studio C

Studio CIntroducing the newest Studio C collections from Carolina Pad
available exclusively at your local Walmart

Just in time for the back to school rush, Carolina Pad has introduced their newest collections in the Studio C line.  From beautiful to funky to fun, these new Studio C collections have something for everyone – young or old.

We were given the opportunity to sample some of the products from each of the new collections.  I was impressed with not only the fun new styles, but also the quality of the products that we received.  I also like that Carolina Pad is an environmentally friendly company; they strive to use products that use sustainable resources or post consumer waste.  Munchkin and I agree that our favorite collections are Rising Sun, Free Spirit, and Mo-rockin’.

Rising Sun

For the Rising Sun Collection, we received:

  • a pack of pencils: $2.50 for a pack of 8
  • a pack of 2-Pocket Folder with Prongs: $2.50 for a pack of 3

This beautiful collection is oriental inspired.  The lovely salmon and yellow colors are adorned with delicate flowers and spirals.

Free Spirit

For the Rising Sun collection we received a composition notebook ($2.50).  This collection sports different hues of blue and green adorned with flowers.

Mo Rockin

For the Mo-Rockin’ collection, we received the dated planner which retails for $4.00.  This 18 month planner (starts in July 2010) features month-at-a-glance pages as well as weekly pages.  In the weekly pages, the days have plenty of room to record appointments and/or assignments/due dates.  At the back of the planner there is an academic section that includes information on the parts of speech, punctuation, figures of speech, conversation tables, and multiplication tables, and more.  Finally, there is a small address book and note section.

Eye Candy

For the Eye Candy collection, we received a 1″ binder ($2.50).  This eye popping, colorful collection is cheerful and bright.  The notebook is not only colorful on the outside, but it also has a fun (different) pattern on the inside.  The binder is a traditional o-ring binder that snaps open and closed without any problems.

Peace Out

For Peace Out collection, we receive a 1-subject spiral bound notebook with LOVE on the cover ($2.50).  It has 80 sheets of college ruled paper.  The interior is a bright pink with cute little flowers.  The notebook is 3-hole-punched for easy use with binders.  The covers of the binder are sturdy and appear to be more durable than standard 1-subject-notebooks.

Rock On

For the Rock On collection, we received a 2-pack of fashion ball point pens ($2.50).  The medium point, blank in pens write smoothly and have a nice cushion grip.  The pens feature different styles of the word ROCK on them.

Graffiti

For the Graffiti collection, we received the Ideal Book ($2.50).  As you may guess, this collection features products adorned with various styles of graffiti.  The spiral-bound idea book has a durable plastic front cover and a sturdy cardboard back cover.  The 3 sections of lined paper are separated by 2 tab dividers.  In the front of the idea book, there are 2 pockets.  The pages are perforated for easy removal from the book.
