While Munchkin and D show me appreciation for the things I do every day, they make a special effort on Mother’s Day to make the day great for me. In get spoiled with extra attention and little gifts from Munchkin. This year, this picked out this huge singing card that was hilarious!! In addition to the card, Munchkin arranged these flowers for me from a bouquet from the store. I think she did a great job.
We spent most of the day just relaxing and spending time together as a family. To me, that is a wonderful way to spend Mother’s Day.
For lunch, instead of going out to eat, we purchased a nice organic steak (for D) and some crab legs for Munchkin and I. Oh yum! A delicious meal – better than at the restaurant – for a more affordable price in the comfort of our own home.
A day filled with lots of hugs, kisses, relaxation and love. What a beautiful Mother’s Day…
