Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil Giveaway

Posted in Gluten Free, and Reviews

Coconut OilI like to use coconut oil in my baking and cooking.  I even use it for my skin.  I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to try out Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil.

The Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is an unrefined, cold pressed coconut oil.  It is processed the old fashioned, traditional way by families in the Philippines.  It has a smooth, light texture with a hint of coconut flavor.

Coconut oil has a long shelf-life without having to have any yucky preservatives.  It is an interesting oil due to the fact that it is a solid below 76 degrees F.  When it’s heated above 76 degrees F, it becomes a liquid.

I tested out this coconut oil in my gluten free lazy granola.  The end result was absolutely delicious.  I also used it for greasing my pans in baking as well as in some of the baking recipes including my gluten free waffles.  After greasing the pans, I always rub the coconut oil into my hands to keep them nice and soft.

I am pleased that I am able to offer my readers the opportunity to win their own jar of Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil.

  2. This oil sounds great, and it has no preservatives! I can’t eat coconut, as I have an allergy to sulphur, and coconut has this as a preservative. I must try coconut oil.

    Have a wonderful week,
    Blessings,
    Jillian ♥

    P.S. I know that I can’t enter the competition. 🙂

Hi my friend told me about this oil because I need to lose weight and she recommends it. I am 75lbs overweight. I hate to purchase the product and not have any idea if I will like it. This is why I decided to become a fan on facebook and enter this give away. I hope I win so that I can start the process and possibly lose some weight with this life change. I also hope it is of benefit to my family. Thank you.
