Bakery on Main Review

Bakery on Main

Bakery on Main takes pride in creating healthy, natural foods that are not only good for you, but also taste good.

We had the opportunity to try out several different cereals and granola bars from the gluten free line of Bakery on Main.

Cinnamon Raisin Granola: This granola is made with gluten free oats and has a nice crunch.  It has a good flavor overall, but I would have preferred a more pronounced cinnamon flavor.  Gluten Free, Casein Free

Extreme Fruit & Nut Granola: This granola was one of the favorites.  It was filled with sunflower seeds, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, cranberries, pecans, apricots, brazil nuts…  The variety of textures and flavors in this granola were great.  This is not a traditional granola as it has no oats.  Gluten Free, Casein Free

Triple Berry Granola: This more traditional granola contains gluten free oats.  It has a blend of raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries.  It was good, but it needed just a little more flavor.  Gluten Free, Casein Free

Apple Raisin Walnut Granola: We enjoyed this flavor filled granola.  The texture was great as it contains a nice blend of cereal with walnuts, sunflower seeds, raisins, apples, sesame seeds, and flax seeds.  This granola does not contain oats.  Gluten Free, Casein Free

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Granola Bars: These chewy, gluten free granola bars had a good flavor, but we felt the texture was a bit off.   The peanut butter with the chocolate chips was good, but the rice cereal wasn’t as crisp as we would have preferred. Gluten Free, Casein Free

Cranberry Maple Nut Granola Bars: Once again, these chewy, gluten free granola bars had a good flavor, but we thought the texture was a little off.  The crunch of the nuts and the chewiness of the dried fruit was good, but the texture of the cereal in the bars was too chewy for our taste. Gluten Free, Casein Free

Overall, we were impressed with the gluten free line from Bakery on Main.  You can find most of these products and more gluten free items from Bakery on Main on Amazon or at a store near you.  Join the Eat Better Live Better Club at Bakery on Main to receive $1.50 off your next purchase.
